Portrait Skin Regeneration (PSR) is a dramatic
leap forward in the science of beauty and skin rejuvenation. It uses a new
kind of energy delivered in the form of ionized nitrogen gas called plasma.
Plasma energy stimulates the collagen and elastic tissue in the lower
dermis to create healthier skin with continual aesthetic improvement.
Unlike the Thermage and Fraxel
technologies, PSR takes only one to three treatments. There is
less recovery time and it is less expensive compared to older technologies.
We offer PSR treatments in three different
modalities, high energy, low energy and lite. High energy modality is
given in one treatment, causes more tightening of the skin, and takes
one week to heal. The low energy modality is given in three treatments,
one month apart. This acts like a sunburn and is completely healed in
four days. Lite energy is given in 3 to 6 treatments, 3 weeks apart.
There is no downtime involved with the lite energy treatment.
