A medium peel is best suited for people needing more repair for damaged
skin. This treatment is most suitable for people with skin changes such as:
- Mild to moderate facial lines especially around the eyes
- Blotchy pigmentation
- Rough textured skin
- Moderate sun damage
A combination of Jessner’s solution, trichloracetic acid (TCA),
and glycolic acid are applied in various concentrations and lengths
of time depending on the desired depth of the peel. The healing process
will differ depending on the strength of treatment chosen.

- Treated areas will resemble a deep sunburn
- 4 to 5 days:
- Peeling is present, and patient may resume normal activities
- Make-up may be worn from the time peeling starts, if there is no crusting

the new skin may appear pink, but can be covered with make-up.
This peel may be repeated every 4 to 12 months.
